Right Place, Right Time!

Saturday morning we went to Christmas Magic to watch/listen to the Iowa Park A-Cap Choir which Ethan is a member of. Afterwards, John, Jessica, and I went to the Branding Iron for lunch. When we sat down in our booth I noticed a man at the table next to us and he looked kinda familiar. Then as we were finishing our lunch it hit me....that man was Russ Taff! Wow!

When we got up to leave I stepped over to his table and asked him if he was Russ Taff. He said yes, shook my hand, and I introduced myself. I asked if he would mind taking a picture with me, he said sure and suggested we go outside where the light was better so we did. He is a very nice person and VERY down to earth! This was really neat to get to meet him! Back "in the day" (eighties) when he was with the Imperials and when he went solo, I just loved him! I still enjoy listening to his music.

I heard that someone we all know is "in love" with Russ Taff....sorry Sharon but "...nanny, nanny, boo, boo..." LOL!

Mean Green Marching Machine

It is so hard to believe that tonight is Jessica's last home football game! It seems like just yesterday that she was starting 6th grade band. Now she is a senior and a well accomplished Alto Sax player (marching band) and Tenor Sax player (Jazz band)!

Jessica you have done so well and we are so proud of you!

I know that you will do great at District Band Solo and Ensemble tomorrow!

School Tomorrow......

This year is not an easy school year for me, my oldest baby is starting her Senior year. It is so hard to believe that Jessica is a Senior! Jessica, you have grown into a beautiful and smart young lady! I hope this year is really good for you!

Ethan will be a Sophomore. He is a Manager for the Iowa Park Hawks....Go Hawks! Ethan, I hope you do really well this year!

Madison is going to Jr. High this year....I can't believe the baby of my babies is all grown up! Madison, have fun in Jr. High!

The Reception

Okay.....It is finally done.....I have the slideshow of our reception done!

One Month!

I can't believe that it has already been a month! Man, how time really does fly when you are having fun! It seems like just yesterday that we met, fell in love and were engaged. Now we have been married for a month! This has been the best month! John, thank you for making me so happy! I love you!

I miss you so much! I am so glad that you are coming home today! I wish I would have been able to go with you to Florida! I'm sorry that you are going to be "under the weather" for the next few weeks BUT I will be glad to have you at home! I'm gonna love taking care of you!

I Got To See Tina!!!

On our trip to the Northwest.....on the way home we had to go through Boise, Idaho. Anyway, I got to see Tina!!!! We have not seen each other in person for three years. She hasn't changed a bit! John got to meet her. I am glad that my two best friends got to meet! Tina is the kindest and sweetest person you can ever know! I feel honored to say that she is still my best friend after 26 years! I love you, Tina!

Bridal Photo Shoot

Now that we are home, I finally have a little bit of time to post a slideshow of my bridal portraits. Thanks Kassie and Priscilla for making me look and feel so beautiful! I had a blast doing all 493 of these pics. (No, the slideshow doesn't have 493 pics in it. It is kinda lengthy, though). I love most of them....the best, though, was when Kassie was laying in floor at Starbuck's doing some of the shots....I could hardly keep a straight face!

I will try in the next few days to post our wedding pictures and some from our trip to the Northwest.

Honeymoon in Vegas

We stayed at the MGM Grand Hotel right on the strip. It is the world's largest hotel. We had such a good time in Vegas! I can't wait to go back. My favorite thing was the Bellagio water fountains show. The shows are every 15 minutes and they are so pretty! We enjoyed the Amazing Johnathan. He is hilarious! On my birthday, John took me to Gonzales y Gonzales at the New York New York Hotel...it was really good. John was "sneaky" and told them it was my birthday so, of course, they come out singing and brought me fried ice cream with a candle in it. That was our last night there.

Everything else.....as they say...."What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas".... LOL!
